Froggy Power Comic Locations (13 Comics in Spooky Swamp & Surrounding Areas)
The majority of the Froggy Power comics are hidden across the Spooky Swamp region, including its various sub-areas and the paths leading to it. These comics are collectible items that appear in specific spots, though their appearance isn’t guaranteed every day, and sometimes other comic types might spawn instead. Be diligent and check these spots regularly!
Here’s where to find the main Froggy Power Comic Locations:
- South of Spooky Swamp (Near Lone Lake Tree): Head to the southernmost part of Spooky Swamp. After crossing a bridge or wading through the water and taking a winding path up, look east towards a large tree in the middle of a lake. The comic should be just in front of it, near a lone tree.
- Near Nature Preserve Mailbox: This comic is located directly to the right side of the Nature Preserve Mailbox, an easy spot to check if you fast-travel there.
- Above the Beach Ruins (Nature Preserve Area): Head north from the Nature Preserve. There’s a ruins area along the beach on the lower floor, but the comic is actually on the cliffside just above it. Be careful not to fall!
- Southwest Port Area (Near Waterfall): Navigate to the far left side of the island, staying in the southern portion, just before you reach the hedge maze. Find the lone port area; the comic has a chance to appear on the rock right next to the waterfall there.
- Residential Area (Right of Maze – Rocky Wall): There are two comics in the residential area to the right of the Hedge Maze. For this one, climb the rocky wall just north of the maze. Once you reach the second floor, continue walking to the right where a tree rests on rocky flooring. The comic should be by this tree.
- Residential Area Ruins (Upper Level – Blends with Greenery): Continue along the path in the residential area until you reach the ruins and climb up to the next level. This comic is notoriously tricky to spot because its green color blends in with the surrounding foliage. Look closely among the plants.
- Dead Tree Base: After finding the previous comic, jump down from that platform to the ground level below, just north of the waterfall. The comic often rests in the center of a distinctive dead tree.
- Witch’s Hut (Lily Pads): Teleport to the Spooky Swamp Mailbox and head towards the Witch’s Hut. If you walk along the deck to the far left side, look for the comic on one of the lily pads near the water.
- Left of Waterfall Tree (Across Water): Cross through the water from a nearby point. The comic sits just to the left of a prominent tree near a waterfall, right on the edge.
- Beach Deck Overlooking Rainbow Reef: If you hop off to the wooden paths along the beach, there’s a deck overlooking Rainbow Reef to the left of the last location. The comic usually appears at the very end of this wooden deck near the beach.
- Ghost Tour Ride Mailbox (Behind & Up): Teleport to the Ghost Tour Ride Mailbox. Look behind the mailbox and climb up to the rocky platform directly under the tree roots. The comic should be nestled among them.
- Cliffside Near Ruin Entrance: Cross the river from the Ghost Tour Ride Mailbox. The comic is located at the very edge of the cliff near a ruin entrance.
- Floating Island (Ghost Tour Ride – Top Platform): This comic is found on a floating island associated with the Ghost Tour Ride. Follow the bridge leading to it, climb up the structures, and check among the plants on the very top platform of this floating island.
Bonus Comic: Seapony Race (1 Comic)
This final Froggy Power comic is special and obtained differently, making it one of the rarer finds in the game!
- Location: Rainbow Reef (specifically at the Seapony Racing mini-game, located between the Visitor Houses & the Recycling Plant).
- How to Get It: You must win 1st place in the Seapony Racing Mini-Game.
- Important Note: The prize you get from Seapony Racing is random, even if you win first place. There are many possible first-place prizes, and the Froggy Power #7 comic has a low probability (around 2% chance) of being awarded even when you win first place. You’ll also need Game Tickets to participate in the race, so it might take several attempts (and quite a few Game Tickets) to obtain this specific comic. Be patient and persistent!
Tips for Finding Froggy Power Comic Locations
- Daily Spawns: Comics, like many other resources on Friendship Island, respawn daily at the game’s reset time. If you don’t find a comic at a location one day, check back the next!
- Random Comic Types: Sometimes, these designated Froggy Power Comic Locations might spawn Adventures Comics (another comic series) instead. This is part of the game’s randomness, so keep checking those spots until you get the Froggy Power issue you need.
- Seapony Race Persistence: The Seapony Race comic is by far the rarest. Don’t get discouraged if it takes many tries (and many Game Tickets!) to win it.
- Badtz-maru’s Comic Stand: While not a “finding” method, remember that Badtz-maru’s Comic Stand in Seaside Resort sometimes sells comics you’ve already acquired. This won’t help you get new ones, but it’s a good place to fill out any missing numbers if you happen to miss a daily spawn.
