The Wall of Wishes is a unique secret located at the very start of Destiny 2’s Last Wish raid. It allows you to input codes to activate special effects, teleport to different encounters, or even unlock extra loot! You don’t need to defeat any bosses to use it.
How to Find the Wall of Wishes
- Start the Last Wish raid.
- Before the first encounter, take the tunnel on your left.
- Follow the cave path and climb the hidden ledges around the water.
- At the end of this path, you’ll find the Wall of Wishes – a large grid with 20 symbols.
All 15 Wishes and Their Effects
There are 15 known wishes you can input. Each wish requires a specific pattern of symbols on the wall.

| 4 | To look athletic and elegant | Teleports you to the 2nd encounter (Shuro Chi). |
| 5 | For a promising future | Teleports you to the 3rd encounter (Morgeth). |
| 6 | To move the hands of time | Teleports you to the 4th encounter (Vault). |
| 7 | To help a friend in need | Teleports you to the final encounter (Riven). |
| 8 | To stay here forever | Plays the “Hope for the Future” song. |
| 9 | To stay here forever | Adds Failsafe dialogue during the raid. |
| 10 | To stay here forever | Adds Drifter dialogue during the raid. |
| 11 | To stay here forever | Adds the Grunt Birthday Party headshot effect (from Halo). |
| 12 | To open your mind to new ideas | Adds a visual effect around fireteam members’ heads. |
| 13 | For the means to feed an addiction | Unlocks Petra’s Run (the flawless raid mode). |
| 14 | For love and support | Spawns Ahamkara eggs throughout the raid (for Lore/Triumphs). |
| 15 | “This one you shall cherish.” – Riven of a Thousand Voices | Text shows: “You wish for a new pathway” – No known in-raid effect yet. |
Important Notes for Using the Wall of Wishes
- Solo Entry: You can enter wishes by yourself, even before the raid officially begins.
- Teleport Caution: Be very careful with wishes 4, 5, 6, and 7! Once you teleport, you cannot return to the start unless you reset or complete the raid.
- Input Carefully: Enter the symbol patterns slowly and double-check your work. Making a mistake will reset the entire wall, and you’ll have to start over.
